Condolence: Arturo was a great teacher friend. The early 70s were interesting times and Arturo was a bit of a renaissance man in our high school. He shared literature and ideas ahead of our time in place. I remember when Art suggested we go visit Muhammed Ali at his camp. Art, Meda, Terry, and I hopped in the volkswagen, drove up, wound up sitting on Ali's porch, watching the sunset, listening to Ali recite from the Koran and tell stories. Won't forget him

Condolence: Rob,

My prayers of condolences extend to you and your family at this difficult time. I enjoy your stories about Mr. Troup, Sr. as they remind me of my beloved grandfather! They were both characters and both were truly two of the greats from the greatest generation. Take comfort in the blessings that are wonderful memories!

Condolence: Dear Rob and Lesley,

Our deepest sympathies to you and to Kyle, Trevor and Riley and to the rest of your extended family, at the death of Rob's father. What an amazing life he had!

May God be especially near to you and bring comfort, strength and peace. May the love of family and friends bring consolation. And may the light of Christ shine in the midst of your sorrow.

I lost my father last year and it brings a big change, but God indeed will give to you what you most need each day.

In peace+

Condolence: I was so very sorry to hear that Sonny had decided to "join the multitude." But what a wonderful, full life he had and I think to the end, he did it his way. Although we didn't get to know each other until later in life, as his sister, I quickly came to admire his ability to talk knowledgeably about almost anything and, of course, his unique sense of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed our visits and phone calls and am so thankful that we had those opportunities. My deepest condolences, thoughts, prayers and love to all of Sonny's family. He will be missed by so many.
