Paul S. Schell, 86, of Perry Twp., passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. He was the husband of Grace M. (Fritz) Schell, who died on December 25, 2013.
Born in Shumans, Columbia Co., he was the son of the late Isadore and Ruth (Fisher) Schell. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of the Korean War. Paul first worked as an auto mechanic for David Loose Chrysler Plymouth, Leesport. He then owned and operated WT Service Station, Shoemakersville from 1970-1980. He attended St. Luke's Church, Shoemakersville. Paul was a past president of the Shoemakersville-Leesport Rotary Club; and a former member of the Shoemakersville Fire Company. He enjoyed spending time with the dog, Max.
Paul is survived by one son: Timothy L. Schell, husband of Heide R. (Snyder) Schell, Perry Twp.; one step-grandson: Derek J. Stoudt; one brother: Earl Schell, Sugarloaf; and three sisters: Wanda Emery, Bloomsburg; Barbara Klingerman, Zion Grove; and Verna Stauffer, Fern Glen. He was predeceased by three brothers: Robert, Alvin and Walter Schell; and two sisters: Katherine Sachs and Leah Baum.
