Obituary for Theodore L. Easterbrook

Theodore L. "Ted" Easterbrook, 83, of Hamburg, died Friday, December 1, 2017 in his residence. He was the husband of Alice M. (Hjorth) Easterbrook. They were married September 6, 1958, and celebrated 59 years of marriage. Born in Shippensburg, he was the son of the late John C. Easterbrook and Marion B. (Elliot) Easterbrook. He was a US Air Force veteran. Ted worked various jobs in the area, and enjoyed bartending at various local bars. He was a member of Union Fire Co. No. 1 of Hamburg and Beneficial Association, Kutztown Fire Company and Relief Association, Shoemakersville Fire Company, and Hamburg Moose. Ted was an avid baseball fan. He was a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed collecting baseball memorabilia.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a brother: David A. husband of Patricia A. (Kunkel) Easterbrook, Mohrsville; a sister-in-law: Lois (Ogrinc) Easterbrook; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother: John R. Easterbrook.
Services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (Off-street parking in rear). Burial will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
