Obituary for Terry L. Rubright

Terry L. Rubright, 62, of Windsor Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2014 in his residence.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Sterling W. and Luella M. (Miller) Rubright. Terry was a 1971 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. He studied culinary arts in West Virginia where worked as a chef in a resort. Throughtout his culinary career, he worked at the Kwik Shoppe in Shoemakersville, The Windsor Diner, Laurel Nursing Home and The Regal Hotel in Hamburg. Terry also worked for CJS Installation, Hamburg.
Terry was a member of the Hamburg Game Association; and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of various rock bands in the area for twenty-five years, including Shadow of Tyme and the Valients, playing the drums and harmonica.
Terry is survived by two brothers: Thomas A. Rubright, companion of Betty Amadoro, Perry Twp.; and David S. Rubright, and his wife Cynthia, Palmyra; one niece and six nephews.
A visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be private in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Luke's Church, Fifth and Franklin Streets, Shoemakersville, PA 19555.
