Obituary for Mary Ann Ohlinger (Balthaser)
Mary Ann Ohlinger, 75, of Woodbine, Maryland; and formerly of Centerport, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 in Howard County General Hospital. She was the wife of Kenneth L. Ohlinger, who died August 3, 2004.
Born in Centerport, she was the daughter of the late Ammon C. and Gertrude M. (Rhine) Balthaser. Mary Ann graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School and Philadelphia General Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse at the Berks Heim. Mary Ann was a member of Pilgrim Church UCC, Wheaton, Maryland.
Mary Ann is survived by her son: Keith T.D. Ohlinger, husband of Kate Henriksen, Woodbine, MD; and two granddaughters: Gabrielle and Danielle. She is also survived by her sister: Ethel Spangler, Centerport.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. John's (Hain's) Cemetery. A visitation will be held in the funeral home Saturday, February 3, 2018, 12:30 to 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Pilgrim Church UCC Memorial Fund, 2206 Briggs Road, Wheaton, MD 20906.
