Obituary for Margaret T. Schorr (Steffanic)

Margaret T. Schorr, 94, formerly of Mohnton, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in The Golden Living Center, Exeter Twp. She was the wife of Auguste J. Schorr, who died in April 1988.
Born in Mt. Laffee, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Purcell) Steffanic. Margaret worked as a custodian for the Govenor Mifflin School District until her retirement.
Margaret is survived by one son: Michael A. Schorr, husband of Audrey L. (Adams) Schorr, Surfside Beach, SC; one daughter: Elaine D. (Schorr), husband of Francis Fischer, Harrisburg; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers: Larry and James Steffanic; and three sisters: Elizabeth Schwoyer; Claire Jester; and Cecilia Bulgia. Margaret was predeceased by one brother: Paul Steffanic; and three sisters: Irene, Imelda, and Marie.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Leesport is in charge of arrangements. For online condolences, please visit, www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com.
