Obituary for June A. Dobson (Bricker)
June A. Dobson, 92, a resident a Stoneridge Poplar Run, Myerstown, died Monday, March 26, 2018.
Born in Muhlenberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late Clair L. and Anna M. (Kissinger) Bricker. She graduated from Muhlenberg Township High School in 1943. She was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church, Reading. June worked as a billing clerk for the Metropolitan Edison Company for 42 years retiring in 1985. She had also worked part time at Boscov's. She enjoyed playing Bingo, reading, and traveling with her Aunt Ethel.
June is survived by a son: David K. Dobson, significant other of Cheryl (Hill) Weidenhammer, Temple; three grandchildren: Jessica (Dobson) Gracely wife of Gary, Brenda (Dobson) Gallagher, Kevin Dobson, husband of Jennifer; nine great-grandchildren: Shawn, Tyler, Tori, Devin, Kyla, Evan, Shay, Olivia, and Ella; and a great-great Grandchild: Avery. She is also survived by three sisters: Marion (Bricker) Royer, Doris (Bricker) Fix, and Ruth (Bricker) Distasio; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sibilings: Gary Bricker, and Greta (Bricker) Clemens.
Services will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
