Obituary for John S. Breidegam

John S. Breidegam, 64, of Auburn, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 in M.S. Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Lynn R. (Tinklepaugh) Breidegam. They were married on September 26, 1969 and celebrated forty-five years of marriage.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Arlene B. (Hoch) Breidegam. He was a 1967 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. John worked for thirty years for Fairmount Foundry, Hamburg; and last worked at Brentwood Industries, Lebanon. He attended St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. John enjoyed time with his family and activities with his grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter: Vickie L. Breidegam, and son-in-law: Arlan B. Colna, Schuylkill Haven; four granddaughters: Kayla Leibensperger, Candace, Angelina and Tessa Colna; and one great-grandson: Seth Reber. John is also survived by three brothers: Richard C. Breidegam, Lehighton; Donald L. "Butch" Breidegam, Centerport; and Dennis G. Breidegam, and his wife Gloria, Centre Twp.; and three sisters: Linda L., wife of Tyrone Williams, Leesburg, Alabama; Janet S., wife of James Hendricks, Centre Twp.; and Kathy M. "Kate" Kauffman, Tilden Twp.; five nieces and five nephews. He was predeceased by two grandchildren: Cody and Kira Colna.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Memorial contributions may be sent to American Heart Association, 212 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
