Obituary for Janet M. Kline (Christ)

Janet M. (Christ) Kline, 72, of Exeter Twp., slipped into the presence of her Lord on July 12, 2014 at about 2:00 pm while holding the hands of her husband of 54 years and her daughter, Stacey. She joined her son, Marlin, who predeceased her by 42 years. Janet was the wife of David G. Kline. They were married on June 4, 1960.
Born in Shoemakersville, she was the daughter of the late Ray L. and Marie V. (Balthaser) Christ. She was a 1959 graduate of Perry High School and Brylane Beauty School. Janet was a member of Exeter Bible Church for 54 years. She was also a member of the Christ Bell Ringers.
Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter: Stacey E. Kline, Exeter Twp.; her two sons: Brian N. Kline, and his wife Mandy, Leesville, NC; and Dale R. Kline, and his wife Heidi, Hawaii; four grandsons; and two brothers: Ron Christ, Durham, NC; and David Christ, Taylors, SC.
Services will be held on Friday at 2:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Salem-Berne UB Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Friday 1:00 to 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Exeter Bible Church, in memory of Janet M.
