Obituary for Grant L. Hatt

Grant L.  Hatt
Grant L. Hatt, 76, of Perry Twp., passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 in his residence. He was the husband of Dolores E. (Kiebach) Hatt. They were married on July 25, 1959 and celebrated fifty-eight years of marriage.
Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Paul G. and Alice L. (Hoffman) Hatt. Grant was a graduate of Hamburg High School. He first worked at R.W. Eaken; and then owned and operated Grant's Janitorial Service. Grant was a member of Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, Centre Twp., where he served as treasurer of the church for ten years. He enjoyed going to estate sales and operated an stand at Mad Hatter Antique Mall in Adamstown. Grant was also a member and president of TOPS 500 group in Muhlenberg Township for twenty years; and a member of the Bern Church seniors.
Surviving in addition to his wife Dolores are two daughters: Linda L. (Hatt) Kirkhoff, Leesport; and Bonnie L. (Hatt) Jacoby, Perry Twp.; and three grandsons: Timothy Kirkhoff, and Lee and Corey Jacoby. Grant was predeceased by a brother: Ronald P. Hatt. He will be missed by his canine buddy: Guinness.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Viewpoint Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 7:00 to 8:30 pm and Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
