Obituary for Geraldine A. Wray (Johnson)
Geraldine A. Wray, 56, of Hamburg, died Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital- Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Earl L. Wray. They were married September 15, 1990 and celebrated 27 years of marriage.
Born in West Islip, Long Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Martha H. (Kogler) Johnson. She graduated from West Islip High School in 1981. Geraldine worked in the accounts payable department at Redner's Warehouse Markets for 18 years retiring in 2016 after becoming disabled due to illness. Geraldine was a member of the American Kennel Club, where she enjoyed showing Springer Spaniels. She enjoyed horseback riding in her earlier years, and loved the beach, especially Fire Island, New York.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Ken E. Wray husband of Kaitlyn M. (O'Neill) Wray, Hamburg; and three brothers: James Johnson, West Islip, NY, Bob Johnson, Lenhartsville, and Tom Johnson, Kempton.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 7:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (Off Street Parking in Rear). Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Viewings will be held Wednesday, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the funeral home.
