Obituary for Elizabeth M. "Betty" Reppert (Miller)

Elizabeth M. Reppert, "Betty", 94, formerly of Shoemakersville, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She was the wife of Charles F. Reppert, who died October 13, 1998. Betty and Charles were married on December 19, 1937.
Born in Hamburg, she was the daughter of the late Irwin F. Miller and Alverna E. (Miller) Weitzman. Elizabeth was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Shoemakersville. She loved going to church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years.
Elizabeth is survived by one daughter: Pauline M. "Polly" (Reppert), widow of Clair R. Miller, Shoemakersville; five grandchildren: Gregg Lonaberger, Todd Lonaberger, Nicole Reppert, Ashley Reppert, and Gabrielle Reppert; and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother: Charles Miller, New Castle, Delaware; and one sister: Sara (Miller) Garvin, Bridgeport, New Jersey. Elizabeth was predeceased by a son: David L. Reppert, who died in December 1989.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, at 11:00 from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Zion's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Salem United Methodist Church, 605 Main Street, Shoemakersville, PA 19555.
