Obituary for David P. Stewart

David P. Stewart, 71, of Windsor Twp. died Friday, March 13, 2015 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp. He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Beeman) Stewart, died January 7, 2013.
Born in Hamburg, he was the son of the late David G. and Arlene M. (Turner) Stewart. He was a member of St. Paul's (Smoke) Church, Windsor Twp. David worked at Cartech for 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Hamburg Fish and Game Association, and he was a life member of the NRA.
He is survived by two sons: James D. husband of Lisa N. (Dietrich) Stewart, Virginville, and Jason D. Stewart, Hamburg; a daughter: Tracy A. (Stewart) wife of Dean R. Henn, Tilden Twp; three grandsons: Brandon R. Henn, Jeremy D. Henn, and Cobey D. Stewart; and a great-granddaughter: Peyton R. Henn. He is also survived by a brother: Charles W. husband of Linda E. (Rhoads) Stewart, Perry Twp., and a sister: Darlene F. (Stewart) wife of Randy J. Hix, Florida. David was predeceased by a grandson: Shane C. Stewart, and a brother: Warren L. Stewart husband of Fern Stewart, Hamburg.
Services will be on Saturday, March 21 at 1:00 pm from St. Paul's (Smoke) Lutheran Church, 2613 Old Route 22, Hamburg. Burial will follow in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Windsor Twp. A visitation with the family will be held on Saturday at the church 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hamburg Fish and Game Association Children's Fishing Rodeo, 935 N. 5th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526 Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
