Obituary for Clarence H. Weitzel

Clarence H. Weitzel, 72, of Perry Twp., passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Ruth F. (King) Weitzel. They were married on January 21, 1972 and celebrated forty-three years of marriage.
Born in Fritztown, he was the son of the late Mahlon G. and Annie L. (Weller) Weitzel. Clarence worked as a truck driver for All Star Distributing and Premier Fleet. He was a member of St. John's (Gernant's) Church, and a former president of church council. Clarence was also a member of Teamsters.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Pamela F. Wolfe, Perry Twp.; and Diana R. (Wolfe) Withelder, Hamburg, eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Clarence is also survived by one brother: Richard Weitzel, and his wife Linda, Muhlenberg Twp.; two sisters: Edna, wife of Forrest Blatt, Myerstown; and Sandra, wife of Murray Lownes, Jersey Shore, PA; and one uncle: Harold Weller, a guest at Berks Leisure Living Center. He was predeceased by two sons: Jeffrey A. Wolfe, Sr.; and Michael J. Wolfe; one daughter: Linda F. Schaeffer; and two sisters: Dorothy Reinhart and Arlene Driesbach.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens.
