Obituary for Charlotte D. Kissinger (Wallace)

Charlotte D. Kissinger, 86, formerly of Hamburg, died Sunday, November 9, 2014 in Messiah Lifeways at Messiah Village in Mechanicsburg. She was the wife of Carol H. Kissinger, who died July 29, 1988.
Born in West Wyomissing, she was the daughter of the late Oscar E. and Elsie H. (Moyer) Wallace. She was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hamburg. She was also a member of the Auxiliary of Shoemakersville Fire Company. Charlotte enjoyed reading, ballroom dancing, and traveling internationally.
Surviving are two sons: Darryl S. husband of Michelle R. (Houser) Kissinger, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., and Corey D. husband of Patricia A. (Leef) Kissinger, Spring City; a daughter: Diane S. (Kissinger) wife of Randall C. Achenbach, Camp Hill. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 3 brothers: William, Russell, and Herbert Wallace; and one sister: Irene Noll Wallace.
A visitation will be held Friday, November 14, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, off street parking in rear. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. For online condolences, please visit www.leibenspergerfuneralhomes.com
