Obituary for Betty D. Krick (Field)
Betty D. Krick, 87, formerly of Hamburg and Dauberville, passed away in Reading Hospital on Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was taken there from Country Meadows, Wyomissing, where she resided. She was the wife of Martin C. Krick, who died February 13, 1984.
She was the daughter of the late Harvey J. and Dorothy R. (Seaman) Field. She was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School. Betty was a secretary for Hamburg Area High School, retiring September 1, 1995. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Betty was a member of the Educational Secretaries Association; and a former member of the Shoemakersville Senior Citizens. She enjoyed going out to eat, visiting friends, and going to shows.
Betty is survived by her cousin-in-law and friend: Marilyn E. Seaman and her family.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Connections at Country Meadows for their care of Betty.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in Bern Cemetery, Bern Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 99 Church Street, Hamburg, PA 19526.
