Obituary for Benjamin A. Zettlemoyer Jr.
Benjamin A. Zettlemoyer, Jr., 82, of Albany Twp., passed away on May 1, 2018 in Orwigsburg Center. He was the husband of Jean E. (Boyer) Zettlemoyer.
Born in Orwigsburg, he was the son of the late Benjamin A. Zettlemoyer, Sr., and Eva Strausser. Benjamin worked as a knitter, last working at Crown Knitting Mill, Mohrsville. He was a member of Frieden's Church, Lenhartsville. Benjamin loved being outside and also liked watching TV, including classic western movies and country shows. He especially enjoyed spending time with his great-grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Benson D. Zettlemoyer, Rockland Twp.; David L. Zettlemoyer, and his wife Pamela, Greenwich Twp.; James P. Zettlemoyer, Greenwich Twp.; and Sandra L. (Zettlemoyer) Keim, Albany Twp.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters. He was predeceased by a daughter: Tammy M. (Zettlemoyer) Kerns; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg. Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Lenhartsville.
