Neal R.  Adams
Neal R. Adams, 55, of St. Lawrence died Friday, August 4, 2017 in his residence. He was the husband of Laurie A. (Clouse) Adams. They were married May 25, 1996 and celebrated 21 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Russel and Olive (Miller) Adams. He graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1980. Neal was a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked as a truck driver for Rahn’s Concrete, Reading for 20 years. He was a member of Americans 4 Heroes, and a former member of the Morgantown American Legion. He loved riding his motorcycle.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son: Christian M. Adams, Exeter; two daughters: Brianna M. Adams, and Casey J. Adams, both of Exeter; two brothers: Craig A. Adams, Rhode Island, and Blaine S. Adams, Orwigsburg; a sister: Sheila D. (Adams) Andrews, Michigan; and five nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three children; and a sister: Gale M. Adams.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private in St. John’s (Gernant’s ) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp. Memorial Contributions may be sent to: Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center, P.O. Box 60, Trexlertown, PA 18087.
