Obituary for Gerald A. Boyer

Gerald A. Boyer, 86, of Berne Twp., died Friday, January 20, 2017 in Rittenhouse Senior Living, Reading. He was the husband of Doris J. (Shutter) Boyer. They were married October 15, 1957 and celebrated 59 years of marriage.
Born in Wernersville, he was the son of the late Paul and Hattie Boyer. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a loading dock worker for Branch Motors, Reading for over 20 years last working in 1997. He always enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by a son: Scott A. husband of Marion M. (Kulp) Boyer, Berne Twp.; and three sisters: Margaret, Arlene, and Sarah. He was predeceased by a brother: Leon.
