Obituary for Patricia A. Ebling

Patricia A. Ebling, 65, of Tilden Twp., died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of William C. Ebling. They were married January 24, 1970 and celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Pauline (Kress) Kline. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hamburg. Pat worked in a few Hamburg Area Knitting Mills: Hamburg Knitting , Windsor Knitting, and Spring Ford Knitting, totaling 30 years. She later worked at Alcon Laboratories, Sinking Spring for 16 years, last working August 4. She was a past president of Hamburg Jaycee Women from 1983-1984, and she was the first female president of the Hamburg Jaycees from 1986-1987. She enjoyed cooking, baking, taking care of her husband, Bill, and always loved bringing her family together. She also enjoyed going to craft shows with her sisters.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: William G. Ebling husband of Suzanne M. (Horton), Upper Tulpehocken Twp.; a daughter: Tammy L. (Lash) wife of Chris R. Buchanan, Wolmelsdorf; two grandchildren: Francesca M. Pollari, Reading, and Travis J. Ebling, Myrtle Beach, SC; and two great-grandchildren: Gregg and Noah. She is also survived by four sisters: Sue (Kline) Brown, Wendy (Kline) Butrie, Cathy (Kline) Shollenberger, and Melissa (Kline) Heffner; a sister-in-law: Colleen R. Haley, Wolmelsdorf; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister: Cindy (Kline) Sperber.
Services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be held Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
