Cynthia L.  Smith (Seaman)
Cynthia L. Smith, "Cindy", 70, of Tilden Twp., passed away in her residence on Saturday, October 29, 2016. She was the wife of James H. Smith. They were married on March 20, 1993 and celebrated twenty-three years of marriage.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Grace I. (Stamm), wife of Miles Kemmerling, West Hamburg; and the late Stanley Seaman. Cindy worked for Diener's Knitting Mill, Leesport Flower Shop, Quaker Maid Kitchens in Leesport and Hamburg, and last worked as a school bus driver for Eshelman Tansportation. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and loved decorating for the holidays.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are three sons: Timothy T. Rentschler, and his wife Lori, Upper Bern Twp.; Kerry L. Rentschler, Tilden Twp.; and Donald L. Rentschler, Jr., and his wife Stacia, Centre Twp.; and four grandchildren: Kelsey Rentschler, Morgan Scheffler, Colton Rentschler and Sebastian Rentschler. Cindy is also survived by two brothers: Cory M. Seaman and his wife Kathy, Robesonia; and Craig L. Seaman, and his wife Elaine, Lake Wynonah; and one sister: Cheryl D. Tobias, wife of Daniel, Bern Twp.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am from Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, 1542 Shoey Road, Mohrsville. A visitation with the family will be held in the church Thursday 9:30 to 10:45 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to the charity of your choice in memory of Cindy.
