Obituary for Dora A. "Dee" Miller (Schultz)
Dora A. Miller, "Dee", 85, of Shoemakersville, passed away in her residence on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. She was the wife of John L. Miller, who died November 6, 2001.
Born in East Prussia, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Arbeiter and Erna (Hill) Schultz. Dee first worked for Windsor Knitting Mill, Hamburg, for eighteen years. She then worked as a hostess at Schmeck's Restaurant, Hamburg; and Blue Mountain Family Restaurant, Shartlesville. Dee enjoyed being outside with her flowers. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
Dee is survived by one daughter: Patricia A. (Miller), wife of David S. Baer, Shoemakersville; and with whom she resided; three granddaughters: Danielle (Baer), wife of Matthew Herring; Justine (Baer), wife of Jason Reading; and Ariana (Baer), wife of Bradley Auman; and three great-granddaughters: Skye, Kylah and Kenzie. She is also survived by one sister: Gisela; and one nephew: Frank, both in Germany.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
