Obituary for Donna H. Haag (Werley)

Donna H. Haag, 68, of Perry Twp., died Friday, August 19, 2016 in Penn State Health St. Joseph, Bern Twp. She was the wife of Gerald O. Haag. They were married February 11, 1967 and celebrated 49 years of marriage.
Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. and Elva B. (Biles) Werley. She graduated from Hamburg Area High School in 1965, and later attended Hartford Airline Personnel School, Hartford, Connecticut. Donna was a member of St. Luke's Church, Shoemakersville. She worked as a secretary for Adams Window Fashions for about 25 years retiring in 2009. Donna was involved on the fellowship committee at church, enjoyed crossword puzzles, puzzles, reading, traveling, and always loved her grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time on the mountain.
Surviving in addition to her husband is a son: Jeffrey G. Haag fiance of Crissy Brown, Lakeland, FL; a daughter: Jennifer D. (Haag) wife of Clyde C. Kershner, Jr., Blandon; four grandchildren: Ariel M. Kershner, Ashley F. Kershner, Eden W. Haag, and Jennings M. Haag. She is also survived by three sisters: Geraldine (Werley) wife of David Yoder, Shartlesville, Louise (Werley) wife of Dennis Bowers, Shartlesville, and Joan (Werley) wife of William Shuck, Harrisburg.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00 am from St. Luke's Church, Fifth and Franklin Street, Shoemakersville. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to: St. Luke's Church Memorial Fund, at the above address.
