Obituary for Jeffrey S. Riedel
Jeffrey S. Riedel, 44, of Laureldale, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 in his residence.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Lester G. and Linda M. (Thomas) Riedel, Leesport. Jeff was a 1990 graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. He worked at Alcon in Sinking Spring. Jeff loved to watch the Phillies and Flyers. He was a member of West Wyomissing Fire Company.
Surviving in addition to his parents is one sister: Karen R. (Riedel) Allen, companion of Neil Christel, Muhlenberg Twp; and one niece Katelynn Allen. Jeff will be missed by his dog, Hextall.
Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Saturday 12:30 to 2:00 pm. Jeff's burial will be on Tuesday at 12:00 noon in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 11:30 am. Those wishing to go to the cemetery in procession, please arrive at the funeral home by 11:15 am. You may also meet the procession at the entrance of the cemetery.
