Obituary for James L. Brobst

James L. Brobst, 84, formerly of Hamburg, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the companion of Lillian Steinmetz.
Born in Ontelaunee Twp., he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Reimert) Kline. He worked as a general contractor for himself for 20 years until he was age 70. He was a member Hamburg Moose Family Center No. 523, Wagner Good Post No. 216 VFW Hamburg, and Behler-Hein Post No. 637 American Legion Hamburg, and Hamburg Game Association.
James is survived by a son: Chris A. husband of Kim A. (Amaguin) Engle, Albany Twp.; a daughter: Stacey (Steinmetz) Correll, Hamburg; five grandchildren; and siblings: William, Elwood, Patricia, and Mabel. He was predeceased by a son: Steven J. Engle, died 1998, and a brother: Horace.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526 (off street parking in rear).
