Obituary for Robert R. Wenrich

Robert R.  Wenrich
Robert R. Wenrich, 75, of Dauberville, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Helen I. (Blatt) Wenrich. They were married on December 22, 1962 and celebrated fifty-three years of marriage.
Born in Cross Keys, he was the son of the late Ralph Wenrich and Carrie (Waxwood) Wenrich. He worked as a mechanic for Pennsylvania Truck Centers. Robert also owned and operated Robert Wenrich Auto Body in Dauberville. He was a life member of Leesport Fire Company and was a captain for the Leesport Fire Police. Robert also served as a fire policeman for other companies. He was a member and former driver for the Schuylkill Valley Ambulance. Robert enjoyed cars, antique cars, and antiques. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children: Todd D. Wenrich, and his wife Judith, Perry Twp.; Mae L. (Blatt) Bowers, Temple; and Nancy E. (Wenrich) Ludwig, fiance of Thomas Moyer, Dauberville; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Robert is also survived by four brothers: Elwood Wenrich, Shoemakersville; Kerry Wenrich, Strausstown; Ralph Wenrich, Jr., Womelsdorf; and Rick Kline, Myerstown; and two sisters: Shirley Keller and Donna Boltz, both of Centre Twp.
A fireman's funeral will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Saturday 9:30 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home, at the above address, to assist the family with final expenses.
