Obituary for Arlene A. Leiby (Werley)

Arlene A. Leiby, 80, of Leesport, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 in Manor Care, Laureldale, where she resided.
Born in Centre Twp., she was the daughter of the late Walter Werley and Florence (Strause) Werley Noecker. She was a graduate of Hamburg High School. Arlene was a dietary worker for the Reading Hospital for twenty-six years. She was a member of the Leesport Fire Company, Mt. Pleasant Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary, AAA Reading-Berks, Humane Society and the Keystone Blood Bank.
Arlene is survived by one son: Lynn L. Leiby, husband of Cassandra "Casey" (Nooteboom) Leiby, Allen, Texas; two daughters: Donna M. (Leiby), wife of Larry Gehringer, Hamburg; and Kim K. Leiby-Smith, Surprise, Arizona; and four grandchildren: Tyler Smith; and Sarah, Ryan and Matthew Leiby. She was predeceased by her companion Earl Kalbach and one brother: Norman Werley.
Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc, 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Fairview (Belleman's) Cemetery, Centre Twp. There will be a viewing in the funeral home on Thursday 7:00 to 9:00 pm. There will not be a viewing on Friday. Memorial contributions may be sent to American Lung Association, Mid-Atlantic Chapter, 3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
