Obituary for Malcolm Homer Wagner

Malcolm Homer Wagner, 95, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in his residence where he resided for seventy years. He was the husband of Mae A. (Reppert) Wagner, who died on April 17, 2007,
Born in Centre Twp., he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Bertha V. (Hemmerly) Wagner. Malcolm worked as a welder for Carpenter Technology, Reading, for forty-two years. He was a 32nd degree mason of Lodge #62 F. & A.M., Reading; and a member of A.A.S.R. Valley of Reading. Malcolm enjoyed watching wrestling and gardening.
Surviving is one son: Dennis A. Wagner, husband of Beverly A. (Gibson) Wagner, Muhlenberg Twp.; one daughter: Janice A. (Wagner), widow of Donald L. Hartman, Centre Twp.; three grandchildren: Deborah A. (Wagner) Gingrich, Leesport; Karla (Hartman) Painter, Parker, Colorado; and Robert M. Wagner, San Antonio, Texas; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Malcolm was predeceased by five siblings.
Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. John's (Gernant's) Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, with Lodge #62 service at 7:00 pm. There will also be a viewing on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
