George K.  Grim
George K. Grim, 74, of Shoemakersville, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Virginia D. (Harner) Grim, they were married February 14, 1976 and celebrated 39 years of marriage.
Born in Temple, he was the son of the late George E. and Jean F. (Bussinger) Grim. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. George worked as a truck driver and tow motor operator for Choloric, Myer’s Cannery, and last at Godiva. He was a member of Hamburg Game Association, Shoemakersville Fire Company, Fleetwood Orioles, Ray Master Post No. 217 American Legion, Topton, and Wagner- Good Post No. 216 VFW, Hamburg. He was a life member of Temple Fire Company. George enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, sprint cars, building and fixing things.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one son: Michael G. Grim, Shoemakersville; one daughter: Brenda L. (Grim) wife of Leonard D’Alotto, Braintree, Mass; and two grandchildren: Marisa L. and Giancarlo L.G. D’Alotto. He is also survived by three brothers: Barry Grim, Temple & Thailand; Terry Grim, Lewes, Delaware; and James Grim, Pricetown.
