Obituary for Catharine M. Hafer
Catharine M. Hafer, 91, of Leesport, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in St. Joseph Medical Center.
Born in Leesport, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Ruth (Adams) Hafer. Catharine was a graduate of Ontelaunee High School. She worked for fifty years for Cinderella Knitting Mill, Leesport. Catharine was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Leesport.
Catharine is survived by one sister: Anna (Hafer), widow of Van "Barney" Kline, a resident at Keystone Villa, Ephrata; and one niece: Elizabeth Hafer Crow, Sinking Spring. She was predeceased by a brother: George W. Hafer, Jr.; and one nephew: Van Kline.
Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Leesport is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private in Leesport Cemetery.
