Yvonne S. Edling, 72, of Centerport, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 in her residence. She was the wife of Carl J. Edling, who died July 13, 2024.

Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Sourie (Readinger) Staller. Yvonne was a 1970 graduate of Blue Mountain High School. She was a customer service representative for RTC Direct Mailing, Shoemakersville. Yvonne was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. She was also a member of Central Berks Fire Company; and Centerport Grange where she was a Jr. Grange Leader. Yvonne loved traveling. Disney and Pigeon Forge were her favorites. She also loved animals, especially cats and penguins. She cared for many ferals over the years. Yvonne enjoyed spending time with family at the holidays and on vacations; watching old movies and listening to country music. She liked attending and watching sporting events like football, NASCAR and baseball. Her favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Phillies and Reading Phillies.

Yvonne is survived by her children: Kimbery A. Edling, Centerport; and Kevin E. Edling, husband of Kristi Russell, Birdsboro; two sisters: Rita Hermany, wife of Keen, Friedensburg; and Shirley Staller, Muhlenberg Twp.; and her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nephews. She was predeceased by her brother: Errol Staller. Yvonne will be missed by her fub-baby cats.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 12:30 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Tilden Twp. A viewing will be held on Tuesday in the funeral home from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
