William J. Smith, Sr., 70, of Hamburg, passed away on April 19, 2016 in Golden Living Center, Reading. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lewis H., Jr., and Alice M. (Smith) Chaney. He worked as a senior technician at the Annapolis Hospital. William is survived by his companion: Judith Webber, Hamburg; three children; one brother; and one sister.
