William F. Renno, IV, "Billy", 71, of Tilden Twp., passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Lehigh Valley Hospital where he was a patient for four months. He was the husband of Shirley (Readinger) Renno. They were married on December 18, 1976 and celebrated 37 years of marriage.
Born in West Reading, he was the son of the late William F. Renno, III; and Helen (Snyder) Renno Heffner. Billy worked for PennDOT for twenty-five years. He was also a self-employed farmer on the family farm in Tilden Twp. He enjoyed farming and meeting the guys at Dunkin Donuts. Billy loved racing, Farmall tractors, and telling stories. He especially loved his family.
In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by two sons: Robert A. Renno, and his wife Lori, Womelsdorf; and Christopher M. Smith, Hamburg; two daughters: Stephanie I., wife of Randy Hoppes, Bernville; and Tammy L, wife of Ryan Reppert, Port Clinton; and seven grandchildren: Emilie, Haley, Wyatt, Hunter, Colt, Case, and Mattie. He was predeceased by an infant sister: Marshia Renno; and his paternal grandparents: Frank and Martha (Yocum) Renno, whom he was especially close to.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am from Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, 1542 Shoey Road, Mohrsville. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be held in the church Wednesday 9:30 to 11:00 am. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg is in charge of arrangements.
