Obituary

William C. Kutz, Jr., 83, of Richmond Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in the Reading Hospital. He was the companion of Dorothy C. (Cohick) VanBuskirk for thirty-five years. Born in Maxatawny Twp., he was the son of the late William C., Sr. and Anna K. (Hollenbach) Kutz. William was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Lehigh Cement Company for twenty-five years. William also worked on the family farm where he grew up. He was an avid roller skater for 70 years. William was a member of an ATV club; loved going to antique car and tractor shows and flea markets; and loved animals. Surviving in addition to his companion Dorothy are her children: Michael and Pat (Althouse) VanBuskirk, Gettysburg; Brian and Kim (Kline) VanBuskirk, Kutztown; and Carol S. (VanBuskirk) and Patrick Lawlor, Harleysville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Gathering with the family will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Community Room at Keystone Villa, 501 Hoch Road, Blandon, PA 19510.
