William C. Kutz, Jr., 83, of Richmond Twp., passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2015 in the Reading Hospital. He was the companion of Dorothy C. (Cohick) VanBuskirk for thirty-five years.
Born in Maxatawny Twp., he was the son of the late William C., Sr. and Anna K. (Hollenbach) Kutz. William was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Lehigh Cement Company for twenty-five years. William also worked on the family farm where he grew up. He was an avid roller skater for 70 years. William was a member of an ATV club; loved going to antique car and tractor shows and flea markets; and loved animals.
Surviving in addition to his companion Dorothy are her children: Michael and Pat (Althouse) VanBuskirk, Gettysburg; Brian and Kim (Kline) VanBuskirk, Kutztown; and Carol S. (VanBuskirk) and Patrick Lawlor, Harleysville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering with the family will be held on Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Community Room at Keystone Villa, 501 Hoch Road, Blandon, PA 19510.
