IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William G.
Huey
January 4, 1949 – June 7, 2025
Husband, father, brother, grand father, great grand father and friend
William G. "Bill" Huey, 76, of Bernville, PA, followed the call from our Lord and Savior to move to his Heavenly home on Saturday June 7, 2025. Blake McKenrick, Patrick McKenrick, Michael McKenrick of Boulder MT and great grandchildren Maximus Ribner and Maverick Ribner. Bill was born January 4, 1949 to Leon G.Huey Sr. And Edith I. Sheaman in Hazelton, PA. He grew up the second of 5 children in Bernville, PA, attended a one-room schoolhouse before going to Penn-Bernville Elementary. His class was the first to go all the way through the Tulpehocken Area High School. In 1968, he met the love of his life and they have shared 56 years together. Bill continued learning and reading everything he could get his hands on. He graduated RACC with a 2 year degree, Alvernia with a Bachelor's in 1982 and went on to earn a PhD and ThD and was a part-time Christian Counselor for several years; and was an Elder at Kissinger's Bible Church. Among the many jobs he held over the years he spent the most time as a Court Liason for Mental Health and retired from substitute teaching in public and private schools where he was known affectionately as Dr. Bill.
Bill loved science fiction, but not as much as his Lord and his family. He will be missed but those who have hope in God will see Bill again in Heaven. Roman's 15:13 Now may the God of hope full you with all joy and peace as you believe so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held Saturday June 14, 2025 at Kissinger's Bible Church, 715 Berkshire Blvd., Wyomissing, PA 19610, at 4:30 pm followed by a desert reception. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Paul's (Smoke) Cemetery, Windsor Twp.
