William L. Hardy, "Chip", 77, of Perry Twp., passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 in the Laurel Center.

Born in Niagara Falls, New York, he was the son of the late William L. and Stella M. (Seidel) Hardy. He attended the University of Florida, studying psychology and law. William was a Marine Corp veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver and a maintenance worker. William enjoyed riding motorcycles, tinkering with things and working on cars. He was highly educated and enjoyed inventing things.

William is survived by his children: Tye J. Hardy, Perry Twp.; and Diana M. Hardy, and her significant other Will Rivera, Bernville; six grandchildren: Mya, Yessenia, Gabriella, Caleb, Xavier and Elijah; and one great-grandson: Theo.

Services will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
