William M. Elliott, "Bill", 73, of Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Vitas Hospice at Jefferson Methodist Hospital.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late George W. Elliott, Jr. and Elizabeth M. (Junker) Elliott. Bill attended Royer Greaves School for the Blind in Paoli. He was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church. Bill loved all kinds of music and enjoyed listening to the radio. He also enjoyed singing in the Festival of Faith choir, school and church choirs and even directed a bell choir. He was a trivia expert in the Oldies, especially the 60's and 70's. Bill had perfect pitch, a great singing voice, a wonderful memory and a strong faith. He absolutely enjoyed celebrating his birthday.
Bill is survived by his sister: Elyse M. Elliott, Spring Twp.; brother: David B. Elliott, and his wife Cindy, West Babylon, New York; step-mother: Terrissia Elliott; and step-brother: Greg Holley, both of Philadelphia.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Hamburg. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 10:00 to 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be sent to West Lawn United Methodist Church for Missions, 15 Woodside Avenue, West Lawn, PA 19609.
