William Burdge, "Bud", 81, of Leesport, died Thursday, January 26, 2012 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp. He was the husband of Anna G. "Gerry" (Reed) Burdge. Born in Port Royal, Juniata, Co., he was the son of the late Vincent and Ada (Yingst) Burdge. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Bud worked for Wetterau, Inc., Tuckerton Road, until his retirement. He was a member of the V.F.W.; and the Teamsters. In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by one son: Daniel W. Burdge, Boyertown; two daughters: Patricia A. (Burdge), wife of Craig Noll, Leesport; and Kathy E. (Burdge), wife of John Keck, Lehighton; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers: Harry and John; and three sisters: Ruth, Carol and Virginia. Bud was predeceased by one brother: McClellan; and two sisters: Josephine and Mae.
