Wendy Jo Genslinger, 43, of Wayne Twp., Schuylkill Co., passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in Hershey Medical Center. She was the fiance of Alexander R. Hardy, Schuylkill Haven. Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of Donald E. Lesher, husband of Donna J. Lesher, Shoemakersville; and Marguerite A. "Margie" (Burnett), wife of Michael D. Lutz, Shoemakersville. Wendy was a 1992 graduate of Hamburg Area High School. She worked for TPC Water Services, Schuylkill Haven. Wendy was a member of Zion's Church, Perry Twp. She loved to cook, but most of all, Wendy enjoyed spending time with her daughter Courtney. Surviving in addition to her parents and fiance is her daughter: Courtney N. Genslinger, Leesport; brother: Kalem H. Lutz, Hamburg; sister: Jessica L. (Adams), wife of Travis Harley, Shoemakersville; and Alex's parents: Michael P. and Christine M. Hardy, Schuylkill Haven. Wendy will be missed by her faithful companion: Apache. Services will be held on Friday at 11:30 am from St. Luke's Church, Fifth and Franklin Streets, Shoemakersville. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery, Perry Twp. A viewing will be held in the church Friday 9:30 to 11:30 am. Memorial contributions may be made to Courtney N.
