Wayne H. Loeb, 91, formerly of Shoemakersville, a resident at Keystone Villa- Fleetwood, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 in Keystone Villa. He was the husband of the late Ethel M. (Bagenstose) Loeb. She passed away June 14, 2011.
Born in Windsor Twp., he was the son of the late Allen H. and Lillian M. (Wolfe) Loeb. He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. Wayne was a member of the Army National Guard. He worked for 30 years as a molder at Fairmount Foundry, Hamburg. Wayne worked with Paul Schappell as a painter before working at the foundry, and also with Donald I. Smith, during his years at the foundry. He enjoyed singing, reading, and playing board games. At Keystone Villa, he could be found in the Drama Club, Chime Choir, and the Chorus.
He is survived by two daughters: Sharon A. (Loeb) wife of Donald Tobias, Perry Twp., and Janet L. (Loeb) wife of Thomas Harner, Alsace Twp.; two sons: Terry L., husband of Tamara A. (Kulikosky) Loeb, Elizabethtown, and Allen F., husband of Roxanne (Weaver) Loeb, Leesport; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. He was predeceased by a grandson, three brothers: Raymond, Paul, and Donald Loeb, and a sister: Anna (Loeb) Wessner.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 25, 2022 at 11:00 am from St. Michael's Church, 529 St. Michael's Road, Hamburg, PA 19526. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 am in the church.
