Wayne S. Hollenbach, Jr., "Spike", 57, of Leesport, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 in the Reading Hospital where he was taken earlier that day. Born in Auburn, he was the son of the late Wayne S., Sr., and Minnie V. (Smith) Hollenbach. He worked for twenty years for Pohl Corporation. Wayne enjoyed spending time with this family and friends. Surviving is one daughter: Amy (Hollenbach) Blevins, Hamburg; four grandchildren; five brothers: Richard L. Hollenbach, Florida; Earl E. Hollenbach, Fredericksburg; Dennis D. Smith, Leesport; John L. Hollenbach, Reading; and Carl A. Hollenbach, Florida; and six sisters: Janet E. Boyd, Seltzer, Schuylkill Co.; Linda L. Kefalinos, Orwigsburg; Nancy L. James, Kempton; Barbara A. Hollenbach, Hamburg; Deborah A. Fair, Temple; and Patricia A. Phillips, North Carolina. Wayne was predeceased by a brother: Gene L. Hollenbach. Memorial services will be on Wednesday at 3:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street, Hamburg (off street parking in rear). A visitation with the family will be on Wednesday 2:00 to 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Linda L.
