Walter N. Wink, Jr., 94, formerly of Hamburg, a resident at Laureldale Nursing and Rehab, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026 in Laureldale Nursing and Rehab. He was the husband of the late Doris M. (Keller) Wink, died October 3, 2014.

Born in Hamburg, he was the son of the late Walter N. Wink, Sr., and the late Mary (Miller) Wink. He graduated from Hamburg High School. He had attended First Reformed United Church of Christ; and was a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard. Walter worked as a heavy equipment operator at Berks Sanitary Landfill, Sinking Spring; and later Chester County Landfill for 40+ years before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, and racing. He especially enjoyed watching his grandson Dakota while he raced. He loved his late canine companion, Foxy.

He is survived by his three sons: Troy A. Wink, husband of Donna, Mohrsville, James R. Barlet, and Dennis W. Barlet, husband of Denise, Shoemakersville; his grandchildren: Nicholas Wink, Troy Wink, Jr., and Dakota Barlet; and his great-grandchildren: Mason, Hailey, Khaleesi, Indie, Eleven, and Wednesday. He is also survived by his sisters, Helen and Betty.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home. Private entombment will be held in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City, FL.
