Victor Lisa, 65, of Upper Bern Twp., died Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp.
Born in Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Agata (Giordino) Lisa. He was a 1964 graduate of Reading High School and attended Reading Area Community College. Victor was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Pennsylvania National Guard. He worked for Reading Tube Corporation and previously worked at Bulk Chemical, Mohrsville.
Surviving are three sons: Victor L. Derenzo, husband of Renee L. (Hoppes) Derenzo, Upper Bern Twp.; Joseph W. Derenzo, Orwigsburg; and Timothy A. Derenzo, husband of Jennifer (Kuhns) Derenzo, Leesport; two daughters: Tammy Ann (Lisa), wife of Leo Garcia, Port Carbon; and Gina (Lisa), wife of David Yerger, Pine Grove; one brother: Joseph Lisa, Reading; and thirteen grandchildren. Victor was predeceased by a brother: Salvatore Lisa.
Services will be on Monday at 10:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Hamburg (off street parking in rear) with Rev. Jerry Kulp officiating. Burial will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Shartlesville. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Monday 8:30 to 10:00 am.
