Vera M. Kerschner, 90, formerly of Exeter Twp., passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 in the Laurel Center, Tilden Twp. She was the wife of Mahlon A. Kerschner, who died on November 17, 2015.

Born in Lansford, Carbon County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond H. and M. Rhea (Pitman) Hein. Vera was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School. She worked as a dental assistant for various dentists in the area. In Vera's younger years, she enjoyed traveling by motorcycle, camping and horseback riding.

Vera is survived by her son: Scott A. Kerschner, husband of Patricia (Moyer) Kerschner, Jefferson Twp.; two granddaughters: Chastitee A. (Kerschner) Long, wife of Dwight Long; and Melanie B. (Kerschner) Goshorn, wife of Rob Goshorn; and four great-grandchildren: Haden, Connor, Charlie and Emily.

She was predeceased by a sister: Shirley Sassaman.
