Vera M. (Ketner) Breidigan, 89, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 in St. Luke's Geisinger Medical Center, Orwigsburg. She is the wife of Elmer R. "Pat" Breidigan, Strausstown. They were married October 3, 1953.

Born in Strausstown on October 25, 1935, Vera was the daughter of the late Carrie M. (Henne) Ketner and Ernest C. Ketner. She was a member of Zion Blue Mountain UCC, Strausstown. Vera worked as a secretary for A.F. Moyer Beef Co. and later for Anthony's Feed Mill and retired in 1996. She graduated in 1953 from Hamburg High School and was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts.

Surviving is a daughter: Kathy M. (Breidigan) wife of Larry Reifsnyder, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., a son: David A. Breidigan, husband of Alice (Flammer) Breidigan, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., two grandchildren: Amy S. Breidigan, Upper Tulpehocken Twp., and Christopher M. Evans, husband of Elizabeth (Grasing) Evans, Newton, MA; two great-granddaughters: Emilia and Nora Evans; and a sister: Ruth M. (Ketner) Zerbe, widow of Richard W. Zerbe. Vera was predeceased by a sister: Jean I. (Ketner), wife of the late Abner Huntsberger, Jr., and two brothers: Larry C. Ketner, and Dale E. Ketner, and her sister-in-law: Ruth Ketner.
