Todd A. Loeper, 57, of Alsace Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. He was the husband of Patricia C. (Adams) Loeper. Todd was Patty's best friend, her love and soulmate. They shared forty years of adventures together and it all started on October 31, 1986. They married on October 3, 1998.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Paul W. and LaRue A. (Bauscher) Loeper. Todd was a 1986 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. He was a self-employed contractor.
Todd was a member of the Temple Fire Company, Central Fire Company and beneficial association, Goodwill Fire Company and beneficial association, and Berkshire Heights Fire Company. He was also a member of Reading Company Boosters Club, Daniel Boone Rod and Gun Club, Northend Rod and Gun Club, Strausstown Rod and Gun Club and the Flying Dutchman Ski Club.
Todd got his love of hunting, butchering, fishing and boating from his brother-in-law Barry whom he loved dearly. He loved his family and the traditions they have shared. Todd looked forward to hosting the Temple Halloween Parade Party where friends, family and extended family would gather to have a fun time. He also loved boating and water skiing on the Schuylkill River with friends.
Todd was a jack of all trades with a vast knowledge that he generously shared with anyone that needed it. He was giving person of his time, knowledge, and tools. If you knew Todd, odds are he helped you with something. He was a problem solver and out of the box thinker.
Todd had a passion for snow skiing and ski racing. He had spent several decades working at Bear Creek Mountain and was enthusiastic about his job and enjoyed encouraging both young and old ski racers to do their best. He had a lifetime of experience with NASTAR and the ski racing world. Todd was a behind the scenes contributor to NASTAR racing at the national level.
Todd had a love for music and was a sound and light Tech for local and national bands for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife Patty are his sisters: Eileen R. (Loeper) Luckenbill, widow of Barry L. Luckenbill, Hamburg; Gail L. (Loeper) Wenrich, wife of Tab M. Wenrich, Wernersville; Kay S. (Loeper) Hartman, wife of Scott Hartman, Grovetown, Georgia; and Lori J. (Loeper) Jacobs, widow of Steven S. Jacobs, West Lawn; his nephews and nieces: Matt, Tim, Jeffrey, LeeAnn, Tom, Travis, Kyle, Kendra, Scott, Alex, Kelly, Michael, Jessica, Christy, Zack, Brittney, Kira and Jade; and many great-nieces and nephews. Todd was predeceased by his brother: Jeffrey L. Loeper, husband of Lanette (Glenn) Loeper.
Todd was a Brother to many, a Son to few and a Soulmate to one.
A celebration of Todd's life will be held at a later date. Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., Leesport is in charge of arrangements.
