Timothy L. Strausser, 57, of Spring Twp., passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 17, 2023 in the Reading Hospital after a courageous, but brief battle with cancer. He was the husband of Kim L. Geissler. They were together for ten years before marrying on April 6, 2018.
Born in Reading, he was the son of Curtis L. and Ethel E. (Sandridge) Strausser, Hamburg. Tim was a graduate of Schuylkill Valley High School. He was a Journeyman Carpenter at Friends of Carpenters Union Local #167 and Philadelphia Local #1595. Tim had also been a former Journeyman at United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local #214.
Tim enjoyed going camping in his Volkswagen bus; canoeing; and especially loved his motorcycles. He loved animals and missed his dog who passed away two years ago. Tim enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who brought him so much joy.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his children: Joshua Strausser, husband of Morgan; Amanda Strausser; Alyssa (Strausser) Arnick, wife of Jeremiah; and Natasha Strausser, fiance of Ray Schreiner; step-children: Jeremy Miller, husband of Morgan; and Jessica Miller; and ten grandchildren who he loved dearly: Konnor, Triton, Henley, Victor, Althea, Wyatt, Weston, Wynter, Hayden. and Piper. Tim is also survived by his siblings: Dana (Strausser) Wilkins; Jesse Strausser, husband of Stacey; and Angela (Strausser) Foose, wife of Robert; his niece: Megan and nephews: Lucas, Jakob and Travis.
