Timothy L. Hallman, 54, of Centre Twp., passed away in his residence on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, with his companion Linda and friends by his side.
Born in Slatedale, he was the son of Mary (Hewitt) Hallman, Slatington; and the late Robert Hallman. He was a graduate of Slatington High School. Tim loved his job working in the mine in Saucon Valley; and later worked as a merchandiser for a chain grocery store. He sang in the Gospel quintet "Witness"; and was also a member of the Keynote Chorus, a 60-member chorus in Portville, New York. Tim enjoyed woodworking and working with hands, being outside, and working in the yard with his John Deere. He also loved trains and was a World War II buff. Tim always had a positive attitude and a wonderful sense of humor.
In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his significant other: Linda M. Wetzel, with whom he resided; one brother: John Hewitt, and his wife Debra, in Virginia; one sister: Rose (Hallman), wife of Tim Kristie, New Tripoli; five nieces: Nicki, Tina, Amy, Beth and Jenny; and one nephew: Tim.
A Celebrate of Life service will be held on Sunday at 4:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport.
