Timothy Alexander DelVecchio, 24, of Leesport, died of natural causes on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in his residence. Born in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of Timothy H. and Sandra C. (Carson) DelVecchio, Leesport. Tim was a 2007 graduate of The King's Academy, Mohrsville. He received his Associate's Degree from Reading Area Community College and was currently pursuing his Bachelor's Degree from Kutztown University. Tim worked for Ozzy's Family Fun Center, Leesport; and Interflex, West Reading. He was an avid collector of sports memorabilia and an Atlanta Braves fan. Tim enjoyed annual trips to Cooperstown. Surviving in addition to his parents is his fiancee: Laurie Wenz, Blandon; his son: Michael Lee Wenz; five brothers: Christopher P., Mackenzie E., Adam L., Caedmon J., and Avery B. DelVecchio, all of Leesport; paternal grandparents: Michael J. and Joyce E. DelVecchio, Woodbridge, Virginia; maternal grandmother: Jeanine E. Guy, Groton, New York; Laurie's parents: Terry and Donna Wenz, Blandon; and his extended family. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Tuesday 6:00 to 9:00 pm and Wednesday 9:30 to 10:30 am.
