Theodore B. "Teddy" Miller, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 in St. Luke's Geisinger Hospital, Orwigsburg.

He was born in Reading, PA and graduated from Hamburg Area High School; and later received a bachelor's degree in education from Kutztown University. Teddy was a US Navy Veteran; and was an active member of St. Michael's Church, Tilden Twp. He worked many years on the family chicken farm in Tilden Twp., many years as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service; a few years at Cabela's; and was last employed as a janitor for Hamburg Area School District until he retired. He was a member of the Hamburg Historical Society, and Hamburg Grange. He had been a former member of Hamburg Jaycees, playing an active role in the King Frost Parade on an annual basis. Teddy was the "kindest old soul" and frequently helped others with driving them to doctor appointments, etc. He was an avid fisherman.

Teddy is survived by his close friends that he considered to be family: Grace E. Reinard, Henry I. Reinard, Ethan A. Reinard, all of Temple; and Missy M. Sansosti, Womelsdorf. He is also survived by his many close friends and fishing buddies.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 65 S. 4th Street Hamburg (off street parking in rear). Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am in the funeral home.
